Discover Scuba Diving Often referred to as a “Resort Course” this one day experience allows you to be in the underwater world almost immediately. Under the supervision of an instructor you will be introduced to the basics of diving theory and practice some skills in shallow water, before heading out onto the reef to see why diving in Fiji is so special.

Open Water Course

The world’s most popular diving course, the Open Water Certification is a lifetime, worldwide recognized diving certification. With more in-depth theory learning and skill practice and a total of 4 open water dives, it is usually recommended that students plan on 3 or 4 days for completion of the course.

If you don’t have 4 days you can still start on the path to being a PADI Open Water Diver, with the PADI Scuba Diver course. Taking only 2 days this course is the first part of the full certification and allows students to receive a certification, and complete the remaining parts of the course at a later date.

Advanced Open Water CourseAlso known as Adventures in Diving, the PADI Advanced Open Water Course allows divers to try out different styles of diving, gaining additional information to what they will have learnt in their Open Water Course. If you have a passion for underwater photography, why not learn a little bit more about taking those perfect photographs, or maybe you want to explore the reef at night time, the Advanced Open Water Course has a wide range of dives to suit every diver. With 3 or 5 dives to complete, this course can be done in as little as 2 days.

Rescue Diver CourseIt is always fun to be in the water, but what do you do when something goes wrong? The PADI Rescue Diver Course, along with the Emergency First Aid certification is designed to teach divers how to deal with any situation, keeping themselves safe and assisting another diver or person. A non-stop physically demanding course, every diver who completes this course says it was the most interesting and fun course that they have ever done. If this is the course that you are interested in, we would suggest that you plan at least 4 to 5 days for completion.

Professional Level Courses

Beqa Lagoon Resort Dive Centre is happy to be able to offer guests the opportunity to undertake a range of professional level diving courses. If you want to learn more about working with student and certified divers, gaining more knowledge about the theory of diving, diving equipment, and the marine environment then the PADI Divemaster course is for you. The first professional level qualification the PADI Divemaster allows you to work in the diving industry all over the world and is the first step on the path to becoming a PADI Instructor.

If you are already a PADI Divemaster and want to learn more about the role of an instructor, why not complete the PADI Assistant Instructor program. This 4 to 5 day program takes a more in-depth look at the industry and your role within it. Showing you how to effectively and safely teach dive students, this is a step to becoming a full PADI Open Water Scuba Instructor.
